The origin of Christmas is detailed in the biblical account in the book of Luke. We’ll discuss how the story came to be and how other traditions became associated with this holiday.

So most Christians, the origin of Christmas is tied directly with the birth of Jesus Christ as detailed in the bible. But there are a number of customs and traditions related to Christmas which have absolutely nothing to do with the celebration of the birth of Christ.

For example Dec. 25th is the Christmas day. However no one is actually sure exactly when Christ was born. It was most likely in late summer or early fall about 2,000 years ago. So the use of this date probably originated with the ancient birthday of the son god Mithra who was a pagan deity. The significance of this deity became widespread in the Roman Empire during the first few centuries after the birth of Christ.

This lead to a celebration of various Pagan deities around this time of year. Eventually Rome converted this Pagan celebration to a celebration of the god Saturn and the rebirth of the god during the winder solstice period. This winter holiday became known as Saturnalia and it began a week prior to December 25th. This festival was characterized by gift giving, feasts and merriment. It was a very joyous and festive time.

Variations of this holiday flourished during the first few centuries of the new millennium. But in 336AD, Emperor Constantine officially converted this pagan holiday into the Christian holiday of Christmas.

Inspiration is one of the best idea starters. But what is inspiration exactly? Inspiration by definition is something that inspires you to an action or influence. In plain English that means something that motivates you to move in a certain direction or do a certain action.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. Some people find inspiration in motivational speakers, quotes, art, nature, other people and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Inspiration is what creates passion for something. When you are inspired by an outside source to action it is usually because you have a real passion for it and the inspiration is guiding your passion.

The reason we need inspiration is to keep up our drive. If you feel bored or frustrated with a job or topic it can get a lot harder to trudge forward but if something inspires you, you will feel determined to see it through and most likely excel at it.

People look for inspiration when they are stuck and can’t move forward, when they fail and need to figure out how to pick themselves up and when they just need that extra push to get over the finish line. People also seek inspiration when they are faced with tough decisions.

If you are seeking inspiration just look all around you there are plenty of options to choose from. The right inspiration can get you right back on track doing what you need to be doing and being happy about it again. So be inspired!

However as with any style of government there are advantages and disadvantages of a Democracy.

The main advantage of a Democracy is that a country’s citizens feel a part of the process. Getting to vote on representatives allows you to have your voice heard no matter who you are. Free elections also allow for the people in Democracy to make changes to their government without having to resort to violence.

They way a Democracy is set up the people at the top also have certain responsibilities to Joe everyday citizen. The reality is if you want to be re-elected to your position you have to serve the people who have the ability to elect you again. There is no resting on your laurels in a Democracy.

There are a few key disadvantages to the Democracy as well. Just because people have the right to vote and can does not mean that they really understand complex government issues. So you can have large elements of people casting votes and not making very good decisions based on bad or misunderstood information.

Another disadvantage is that people can be heavily influenced by special interest groups in a Democracy. There becomes almost a team or mob mentality that makes people vote their party or their cause rather than critically thinking through what choice will help the most people.

His music and dance have touched the lives of many for over 50 years. Michael first came on the scene as a young boy in a group with his siblings called the Jackson 5. The Jackson 5 had such top hits as “ABC”, “Pretty Young Thing” and “I’ll Be There.”

In 1971 Michael Jackson set out on his solo career and propelled himself to being the top pop star of the 80’s. In the 1980’s Jackson fever was everywhere songs like “Beat It”, “Billy Jean” and “Thriller” were chart toppers and songs that marked a whole generation of people.

Michael Jackson’s 1982 album “Thriller” is the best selling album of all time and is still many times the #1 song on MTV video countdowns some 30 years later. The 1990’s had a very different turn for Michael. In 1993 he was accused of sexual molestation a charge that would become a theme in his later life.

For many years after the molestation accusations Michael laid kind of low out of the spotlight focusing on being a father and was ready to hit the ground with a brand new tour right before his death.

On June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson was rushed to the emergency room and was pronounced dead on his arrival. In usual Michael Jackson fashion his death created a huge outpouring of people coming out to show their love and support for him.

The circumstances revolving his death have been suspicious and there are currently ongoing criminal trials against the Doctor who was at the house the day Michael Jackson died.

Why do people need government? This is a question that you may have asked at one point or another. This is especially true when you hear about so many corrupt policies taking place amongst members of the government.

The people need government for the welfare of themselves and their families. The government is responsible to be a voice and represent the best interest of the people as a whole.

There needs to be a regulating authority when a large group of people is involved and this is what America needs. If there were no governing body in charge of the people it would be a completely different word ruled by one ruler, or completely chaotic and out of control. The interest of the people in a whole would be ignored and it is likely that the benefits of a small group of people would be the only concern.

Economic security is another reason that people need a government. If this economic security was disrupted many people that rely on programs like disability would have no where to turn. This would make for a very scary situation for anyone that relies on much needed government programs to help them with their daily life.

The government is designed to provide the laws that the citizens want and need and when you are wondering why do people need government, you may want to think about a society that has no clear laws and also no one to uphold these laws. While many people are very critical of the current state of the government it can be much harder to imagine a society without this crucial element.

Another answer to why do people need government, is that the nation development depends on a governing body. If a body of people want to move forward in a concise way there needs to be a governing party to oversee this and make sure that it is done within the boundaries of set laws.

There are many answers to the question why do people need government. You may wonder what life would be like without a government and for many people this would bring about many bleak changes. A government is needed to represent the people and ensure that the country is a safe and prospering country. You may want to take a closer look at other countries without a government and see if this is a place where you would want to call home.

The origin of astrology can be hard to trace, but astrology has a very rich past and has been used by generations faithfully.

If you use astrology you may not be aware of what a long history this practice has. This can make you feel as though you are participating in something very great and you may want to learn as much as you can about astrology and especially your particular sign.

It is believed that the origin of astrology can be traced by to the ancient Babylonians. This is where many experts trace astrology, but it has been used in many ancient countries and many ancient civilizations used the stars for many purposes and astrology was just one of many uses of the sky and stars.

Astronomy and the origin of astrology have also been linked to India where it has been discovered that ancient Indians often used the sky as a reference of some sort and also practiced astrology. Many ancient religions often were skeptical of astrology and did not promote the people using this source of prediction. Ancient Christianity in particular did not condone astrology and it was often associated with something of a dark nature.

The Arabs and the Persians were also rumored to use astrology and this is another source of the origin of astrology. Even though astrology has since been abandoned, some small communities still use astrology as a means of looking closely into ones birth sign and the meaning of star and planet alignment during this time.

Many people know astrology as a quick reading about the month you were born, but the origin of astrology is more intense then this and the reading that many people get from the paper does not even scratch the surface. Astrology has much stronger roots and is often more intense then what many people are used to. When you get a full reading it may involve much more then what you are used to and this can be a very enlightening experience.

While the exact origin of astrology can be somewhat vague, it appears that many ancient people used this as a guide of some sort. Astrology has a very long and interesting history and it is amazing at how many people use astrology in current times. Astrology has been enhanced over the years, but the basic principles have been the same and this can be a fun way to look at your horoscope and find out how much it fits your personality.

Many of his characters are world famous and almost anyone can recognize the Disney logo. While Walt did not live to see his first amusement park open, he was the creator and designer and his vision came to life and many people enjoy this vision every single day.

Mickey Mouse started as the Jazz Singer and opened in 1928 and this was around the same time as Steamboat Willie which received rave reviews for its time. Mickey Mouse took America by storm and he was an instant success with more popularity then ever imagined in this day and age. The life of Walt Disney will always include a reference to Mickey Mouse as this is where Disney really got their start.

The first theme park was scheduled to open in 1971 and the life of Walt Disney was based around this moment. While Walt Disney was not alive to see this opening, his brother Roy Disney took over this special occasion. Sadly Roy Disney died just 2 months after this opening, but was alive to see this monumental occasion.

The Disney theme parks are the largest in the world and this has not been accomplished by anyone else. They are still a very popular attraction with some things being upgraded, but this is one park that still has a nostalgic feel taking you back to your childhood if you visited as a child. This is one of the many reasons for the parks unfounded popularity.

The life of Walt Disney also includes many film achievements and Disney in film is still very popular today. Hand animation is where Disney got his start and now the latest and greatest technology is used to create one of a kind cartoon experiences for all ages. These cartoons continue to be as popular as ever and this will keep the Disney name strong for many years to come.

The life of Walt Disney is a very interesting one and a legacy that has been left to be nurtured. The Disney parks continue to grow and expand with Disney keeping to its roots. It can be hard to imagine life without Disney and all of the wonderful creations that have been made.

In 1901 his vision became a reality and the first prize was awarded. The Nobel Prize has been awarded to many distinguished people since then and it is still one of the highest honors of its kind.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded for physics, physiology, literature, medicine, and chemistry. Every year the Norwegian Nobel Committee accepts nominations for the Nobel Prize. There are usually several nominees from many different backgrounds all over the world. In 2009 there were over 200 nominations and just being nominated is a very distinguished achievement.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded on December 10th of each year and this is the anniversary of the death of Alfred Noble. The award is presented by the chairman of the committee in the presence of the King of Norway. There is a Nobel Prize Concert after every ceremony and this concert is broadcast in over 450 million homes. This brings out the biggest stars for a great event each year.

Winning the Nobel Peace Prize is often viewed as the most coveted award to be received in a lifetime. There is a lot of honor and respect associated with this prize and this can affect the entire life of the winner. Al Gore and President Obama are among a couple of the many that have won the prize for their commitment to humanity.

Ronald Wilson Reagan was born on February 6, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois. He was born in an apartment on the second floor of the building and he has one brother, Neil Reagan. Ronald Reagan learned in his youth about discrimination and when a local hotel would not allow a group of African Americans to stay, he brought them home to stay with his family and his mother cooked them breakfast in the morning. His mother had a very positive nature and she instilled this within Reagan. This helped him to place these views in his political life.

Reagan started his career as a sportscaster and as more people begin to hear his voice, he moved up rather quickly and was eventually broadcasting for the Cubs. His voice was perfect for radio and while traveling with the Cubs, he auditioned for an acting part and this would be the beginning of his acting career.

In the 1930’s he moved to Los Angeles and made around 50 films. Even though he was a B list actor, he was well known by many people that watched television and movies. He was also a spokesman for GE and this is where he discovered politics.

Reagan enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1937, but due to his eyesight problems, he was never sent to serve overseas. He completed many projects on US soil however, and he had completed many training courses.

Reagan married actress Jane Wyman in 1938 and they had three children, one of which died at one day old and another they adopted. He accomplished a great deal during his term as he led the country through the Civil War while preserving the Union and ending slavery. But it all began in 1809.

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks in a one-room log cabin in southeast Hardin County, Kentucky. With this, he actually became the first President to be born in the west.

Despite just 18 months of schooling, Lincoln was largely self-educated as he was an avid reader. While he was highly skilled with an axe, it was his talent and skills with wrestling that gave him the self-confidence to pursue his goals in life.

At just under 6’ 4”, the tall President was a strong and powerful figure for the country to stand behind. Many consider him to be one of greatest U.S. Presidents of all time with everything he accomplished over the years. Sadly, it was cut short when he became the first American president to be assassinated.

It was on April 14, 1865 that Lincoln attended the play Our American Cousin. With Lincoln sitting in his state box in the balcony, John Wilkes Booth crept up behind the President and shot him at point-blank range with a round-ball .44 caliber Deringer in the head. After 12 days of chasing Booth, he was finally cornered and shot to death in a Virginia barn house.

Despite just four years in office, Abraham Lincoln lived a long and fulfilling life. Between what he did for slavery, the Civil War and the Gettysburg Address, he is one of the most recognized figures in American history.
