Woman Arrested in KSA for Driving

Driving is prohibited for woman in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for years. Recently police in KSA have arrested and charged a woman for driving a car. The arrest followed in accident involving the woman’s car and another early morning in Mecca 6 March. A spokesman for the Mecca police Abdul Muhsin Al Mayman but said the woman was charged with driving a four-wheel drive Lexus. But he would not name the young woman or disclose her nationality.
He said “The woman tried to escape when she saw a police car and in the process hit another car, which was slightly damaged.” He added the woman was taken to the Prosecution and Investigation Commission for further investigation. Analysts say the administration must consider strongly giving the right to women for driving on point of current demand.
Iran Urges World Muslim ‘resistance’ Against Israel
