It’s not always easy being a teen parent, and we can all use a little help sometimes. Even older parents have a rough time on occasion, balancing work, child care and family concerns, while trying to maintain a social life. Obviously, teen mothers and fathers have less experience out in the world, which can make their job as a parent seem overwhelming, combined with the other responsibilities they must face in their day-to-day lives.

Expectant teen mothers, for example, many times don’t understand at first the amount of work and responsibility involved in raising a child. Some teen girls romanticize the idea of parenthood, expecting that their life will continue, pretty much is normal, except that now they will have this great baby that loves and adores them. The reality can be shocking for many new teen mothers, and some may find themselves facing an overwhelming amount of responsibility and hard work.

Teenage fathers can also underestimate the stress and hard work involved in being a parent, and often they lack the maturity to stick around. Of course, it’s not easy for them either — most teenage fathers have no idea what to expect as a father, and more importantly, they have no idea what is expected of them.

In these cases the teen mother is very often left to fend for herself. If the young mother is lucky, she will have a large, supportive family to help pick up the slack. But many teen mothers do not have this critical support network, and can begin to feel that they are all alone. But the fact is there is help out there for teen parents who are struggling.

There are programs, for example, to help ensure your baby’s good health, and even assist in providing food for the baby. Even before the baby is born, their are organizations providing nutritional programs for teen mothers, to ensure their child will be born healthy and happy. Other programs can provide additional prenatal care.

The WIC, for example, provides financial assistance with buying formula for your new baby, as well as breast-feeding support. The organization even has free counseling and educational services for the new mother. There are videos, books and pamphlets on a wide range of teen parent concerns, and most of these resources or either free, or can be rented or borrowed.

Another great resource for teen parents in need is your local church. In many areas, local churches have food banks that will gladly donate to young parents in need. Normally you do not need to be a member of the church to receive this help. Likewise, the Salvation Army has programs distributing free food at many times of the year. They also have the famous Toys for Tots program, which can be especially helpful to young families at Christmas.

Parents Anonymous is another young parent support group. This organization allows you to speak to other teenage parents, sharing experiences and tips for raising children and maintaining your own life as well. All of these organizations and support groups are there to help the teen parent adapt to their new role, and be the best parent and provider they can for their new child.

The youngest issue of Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine is engaged to marry her longtime beau. The Swedish Royal Palace announced the engagement of the princess with her boyfriend Jonas Bergstrom.

According to procedures specify in Sweden’s constitution, the nuptials announcement was made after the king got approval from the government. In a statement the place said “Today, Tuesday, 11, August 2009, the engagement between Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine and Mr Jonas Bergstroem was announced.”

27-year-old Princess Madeleine has got siblings; they are Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip. Date for the marriage ceremony has not been yet set, but the plave spokesperson Annika Sonnerberg said it can be after Victoria’s wedding in June 2010.

31-year-old Princess Victoria publicized her own engagement on 24 February. She is going to marry her ex-personal trainer Daniel Westling, 35, in June next year. Westling owns a number of luxury fitness centers in Stockholm.

In 2006, after getting an undergraduate degree in art, history and ethnology, Madeleine has combined studies on social affairs with serving the World Childhood Foundation in Stockholm. On the hand 30-year-old Bergstrom got a master’s degree in law. He has served as an associate attorney at a firm in Stockholm since 2006.

In an interview with Newsweek President Barack Obama told his daughters Sasha and Malia have used to to public life extremely well. He said he did not worry about his daughters because they were now “happy, normal kids” in spite of passing time in the public eye. However, he showed some anxiety about their forthcoming teenage years. He also expressed his concerned about their dating. He though his security would complicate his daughters’ dating. Malia is now 10 and Sasha is 7.

Obama said: “Now, I worry about them when they’re teenagers where, you know, you’re already embarrassed about your parents and even more embarrassed on TV all the time.” He also said to Newsweek magazine “And dating I think will be an issue because I have men with guns surrounding them at all times, which I’m perfectly happy with, but they may feel differently about it.” He added: “The truth of the matter is that the campaign was the equivalent of me being the frog in the saucepan of water and the temperature slowly being turned up.” The President further added: “By the time the inauguration had taken place, we had pretty much gotten accustomed to it.”

Obama has set some rules agreed upon by the press member and media about capturing pictures of his two daughters. Though the president and his wife had been very open in discussion about their family dynamics, their daughters were often off limits. The interview was published on Saturday.

Varun Gandhi, member of Nehru-Gandhi family, has been arrested over alleged hate speeches against Muslims. He was arrested yesterday. He is one of the top Indian politicians and come from the most prominent political family in India. He has become an important political figure in India since giving speeches to a huge television audience. In the television speeches he appeared to mock and threaten Muslims.

Varun was now involved with BJP nationalist party and was a candidate for forthcoming election. He initially claimed the recordings had been edited out of context; however, India’s election commission ruled the remarks were criminally offensive. On the other hand, BJP announced that they do not give nomination to Gandhi for the election.

The controversial aspirant turned himself in to police at Pilibhit city jail in Uttar Pradesh amid a raucous crowd of supporters cheered. Uttar Pradesh is India’s most populous state. After his arrest a number of supporters hurled stones at law enforcing agencies. Members of law enforcing agencies responded by firing tear gas shells; additionally, sweeping the crowd with bamboo sticks.

On this Monday, at Bellflower a woman gave birth to eight babies in Southern California which is the world’s second live-born set of octuplets.

Massive 46-person team of doctors was assisting the birth and four delivery rooms were used for the births. The hospital had programmed a caesarean section for seven babies, but doctors were astonished by the eighth. The last baby came five minutes after the first was born. “My eyes were wide,” Dr. Karen Maples said, explaining her reaction to the very last birth. Dr. Harold Henry, chief of maternal and fetal medicine at the hospital said, “It is quite easy to miss a baby when you’re anticipating seven babies. Ultrasound doesn’t show you everything.”

The mother, whose name the hospital did not release, gave birth to six boys and two girls weighing between 1 pound, 8 ounces and 3 pounds, 4 ounces, doctors at Kaiser Permanante Bellflower Medical Center told the associated press. Doctors also said the babies were born nine weeks premature but are in stable condition. Two newborns were placed on ventilators and a third needs oxygen.

The first live born octuplets were born in Houston in 1998, and one baby died about a week later. But now everyone wishes that this octuplets will be live well with good health and happy life.
