In recent, for the lack of rain there is dangerous situation of drought. The drought has affected 10.7 million hectares of crops, 4.37 million people and 2.1 million heads of livestock across the country. And it is most hazardous situation in last past five years. He called the relief work as top priority and a key part of efforts to revitalize the economy in the middle of the global economic anguish.
And for the raining the china government takes the help of modern techniques. Rain fell in drought-stricken north central China after the government brought in weather scientists, and administrators have promised to divert two major rivers to help farmers. And they are quite successful to bring the rain artificially.
More than 2,300 weaponry shells and 400 rockets were fired on this Saturday as officials tried to make rain over the drought-stricken North China plain. And the China Meteorological Administration said these operations brought an average 0.5 millimeters of rainfall to 17 counties and cities in Henan province. Other areas of the plain saw one to five millimeters of rain during the night.
If they can continue to making rain on the land then it will really a great blessing for the farmers. The official Xinhua agency quoted,
“It is of vital significance to the overall economy to boost steady growth of grain production and farmers’ income as China is in a key stage to cope with the global financial crisis.”
This is a great inspiration all the farmer of the world. Cause, in this twenty-first century every country is more or less affected of drought. So, by following their techniques every country can bring relief for their farmers.
