Iran Urges World Muslim ‘resistance’ Against Israel
Posted by Rajib - 05/03/09 at 03:03:07 amIran is today’s one of the most powerful Muslim nation all over the world. Its nuclear power plant is also threatening for the developed countries. And the state always tries to mae a solution to the war between Palestine and Israel. According this Iran’s top leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged world Muslims on Wednesday to join the Palestinian “resistance” against Israel, but his call was dismissed by Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas. He said,
The only way to save Palestine is resistance. Support and help to Palestinians is a mandatory duty of all Muslims. I now tell all Muslim brothers and sisters to join forces and break the immunity of the Zionist criminals.
In addition, Iran’s top military commanding officer and the head of Iran’s revolutionary guards’ corps, Mohammad Ali Jafari, told the ISNA news agency that,
Today the Islamic republic has missiles with a range of more than 2,000 kilometres and. . .all the land of the Zionist regime, including its nuclear installations, is within our range.
But the call of Iranian was frankly dismissed by Abbas after he met US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on her visit to the region since taking office. Mahmud Abbas said,
We are sending a message to the Iranians and others — stop interfering in our affairs. They are interfering only to deepen the rift between Palestinians.
Iran does not recognize Israel, and Khamenei has constantly rejected a two-state solution to solve the decades-old clash. Shiite Iran’s labors to undertake the matter have conventional cynical reaction from much of the Muslim world, particularly from the neighboring Sunni-ruled Arab states which are also cautious of Tehran’s nuclear program.
Saudi foreign minister prince Saud-al-Faisal on Tuesday, called for a joint Arab strategy to agreement with the “Iranian challenge” at a assembly of Arab foreign ministers. In his speak to at the Tehran summit, Iran’s hardliner President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for the creation of a “global anti-Zionist front.”
On the other hand we must seriously pursue punishing the Zionist criminals, so that by saving Palestine and the establishment of a popularly chosen government, the world gets rid of racism, lies and occupation forever.
He said referring to the Israeli blockade of Gaza that, “Unfortunately, the route for delivering the aid is not open.”
The meeting, present by officials from such neighbors as Kuwait and Bahrain, as well as countries such as South Africa and Nigeria, comes two days later than worldwide donors assembly in Egypt vowed to donate around 4.5 billion dollars to reconstruct Gaza. On Tuesday, Iran criticized the Egypt meeting.
Biggest Robbery of Twenty Century
Posted by Rajib - 29/01/09 at 07:01:00 amAmal Suleiman – First Female Wedding Register in Muslim
Posted by Robi - 23/12/08 at 05:12:11 am
In a small town north of Cairo, Egypt; Amal Suleiman, an Egyptian woman has gently made history by becoming the first female marriage official (maazouna) in the Muslim world. The job is clerical rather than religious and not unlike a registrar in Western World. She says she’s no radical but that expanding career choices for Muslim women is simply a matter of common sense. Her appointment shocked many conservatives. However, it has given a ray of hope to young Muslim women who become frustrated by the lack of varieties in career choices offered to them.
Suleiman, who lived in the village of Enayat, wanted such a job befitting her education and skills. Her appointment broke a longstanding custom in Muslim World that Muslim marriage contracts must be recorded by a maazoun, a male registrar. But Suleiman added a new word to the Egyptian vocabulary as she became a maazouna, a female registrar as well as first female register in Arab World. Suleiman said, “I’m not only the first maazouna in Egypt, but in the Arab and even the Muslim world.” To say about getting the job she said, “In the very beginning, I was just looking for a suitable job for me as a wife and a mother, something to suit my time. And it came by mere accident that my husband’s uncle was the maazoun in this area. So my husband — it was his idea to start with — he said, ‘Why don’t you apply for it?’ ”
But she had studied law at college, including sharia (Islamic law), and she knew very well that there is no explicit prohibition against women marriage officers. So, she got her case to the head of the provincial family court and was accepted for the post, along with other 10 male applicants. But much to the surprise of the local maazouns, she was selected as the best qualified among the applicants, and her name was passed on to Cairo, in order to approve of the Ministry of Justice. Nonetheless, several months went by without any action. At last, a celebrated Egyptian columnist wrote an open letter to the justice minister, urging him in order to make a decision one way or the other. After that, one week later, her (Suleiman) appointment was announced.
Now Suleiman is astonished and rather amused to find people on the street greeting her like she is a cabinet minister or celebrity, particularly young women who are considering her as a role model. She says what started out as a simple job search turned into something she never would have predicted just one year ago.
Mass Media Must be Used for Islam – Iran
Posted by Robi - 23/11/08 at 03:11:24 amHassan Qashqavi, Iran Foreign Minister, has allegedly said the capacity of the mass media and information technology must be used in introducing and improving the real image of Islam worldwide. According to the Daily Times he urged the Muslim countries to pay due attention to thwart “organized propaganda campaign” against Islam, instead of focusing on minor religious differences among various Islamic sects.
Foreign Ministry also said that Islamic scholars should downgrade minor differences among various Islamic sects and focus on neutralizing organized propaganda against Islam while he addressing in an international conference on Islam and Media in the 21st century in Sudan. He added, “Solidarity of media activities in the Muslim world is necessary to guide the world public opinion about Islam,” while referring to the key role played by mass media to this end. He said in a statement that during his address to the conference, the spokesman outlined Tehran’s view on the ways to lead world public opinion by media activities. Qashqavi stressed that Islamic states could successfully portray a logical and acceptable image of Islam for the world public opinion through making optimum use of mass media.
It is true that some media highlights only few suspected Muslim leader and their controversial activities but they do not broadcast actually what is Islam and what Islam says about the controversial activities. In every religion there is a few ill-hearted people whose activities are not tolerable but only for those people we cannot say that one’s religion is not good.
There are very few suspected people in Islam but only for those you should not say Islam is not good. Before remark any religion you should know their holly book and their God, then remark. But you could not remark about a religion to see just few suspected person activities. So, every Muslim state should take step to others to inform that what Islam is.
Suicide Attacks “Un-Islamic” Fatwa by MUC
Posted by the Speaker - 25/10/08 at 08:10:26 am
The Muttahida Ulema Council (MUC), United Scholars Council, has issued unanimously a fatwa (decree) against ’suicide attack’, occurred inside Pakistan, declaring those ‘Haram’ (means forbidden) and illegitimate, in a conference of Muslim clerics from across Pakistan at the Jamia Naeemia. Moreover, the body of clerics has declared that only the state had the authority to call for jihad (holy war), and those individuals or groups were not authorized to do that. To mention suicide bombings as “un-Islamic”, the fatwa said that the government should halt military operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and conduct negotiations with the people there to end militancy.
The decree (fatwa) issued at a time when Islamic militants have launched a spate of suicide bombings against administration, government forces, politicians and general people. Already, hundreds of citizens, typically security personnel, have been killed in the last 16 months, including no less than 55 victims who perished in a suicide truck bombing at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, the capital city, on 20, September, 2008.
The experts and the concern Pakistanis think that similar edicts (fatwa) have been released in the past as well; however, a lot of hard-line Pakistanis say those were issued by pro-government ulemas (Islamic Scholar) as part of a campaign to mitigate up anti-American public sentiment and gratify the U.S government and the West. But, the new edict have came from a powerful group of ulemas that incorporated representatives of Islamist organizations; and those are suspected of involvement in fighting against Indian troops in Kashmir province and U.S-led international forces in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the group has given a threat to declare jihad against the USA if it do not stop recently increased air strikes in the Pakistani border. According to the daily newspaper The News, “American aggression against Pakistan escalates, jihad might be announced after due consultation,” warned by MUC because it believes that U.S government has a wider agenda of neutralizing the strategic assets of Pakistan, the only nuclear power in the Islamic world. Now, wait to see, the new declaration can make what types of impact on Islamic militants and how the USA face this new threat.
